The success of your subdomains COMPLETELY DEPENDS ON YOU. Your community has created this toolset to see your organization thrive in this larger community but the work from here rests on you. You carry the responsibility to make it rich and stay engaged. Here are some tips to do that well.
Start Well
Spend time building out your home page, site structure, and resources well when you launch. Don’t launch with a blank site, launch with a good library of resources.
Appoint a Point Person
Find someone on your team to own your subdomain and stay active in the community.
Weekly Postings
Build disciplines to post items each week. Stay active in the community and stay in the conversation.
Use ALL the Tools
Use the tools given to you through the platform - host content, host events, launch an e-course, post digital product, etc. Even if you already do this somewhere else, do it here in your subdomain as well. If you’re not already engaging in some of these methods then here’s a great opportunity to try!
Promote It
Share your subdomain link with others - through email, social media, presentations, conferences, and any other means where you share your vision.
Long Game
Remember you are in this for the long game and building a community takes time... momentum takes time. We are all in this together and the more we all contribute to the common cause the more we all win.
Repurpose Current Resources
You already have great content and resources created for equipping and sending. Consider repurposing those resources right here in your community for a larger audience to engage.
